Prof. Dr. Ushaa Eswaran is an alumnus of Annamalai and Andhra University with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, She obtained her Doctorate from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad for her pioneering work on Biosensors in the year 2011. She is a professional with over 33 Years of Experience in the fields of Education, Research, Skill, and Career Development.

  She has served as a Planning Board Member at Thiruvalluvar University and has held leadership positions in Engineering Institutions as Chief Placement Officer, Principal, Director, Dean, and Advisor. She is a specialist in educational/ institutional skills and teaching imparting processes and placements.

  She has been bestowed with numerous National and International awards. She is a recipient of the Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship & Karmaveer Chakra Award"- ICONGO and United Nations. She is a Lone Indian woman speaker at BITS 12th Annual Congress of International Drug Discovery Science & Technology 2014, Suzhou, China. institutional skills and teaching imparting processes and placements.

  She is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education, (ISTE), Fellow Member of The Institution of Engineers (India), a Chartered Engineer in The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), a Senior Fellow in the Society of Innovative Educationalists and Scientific Research Professional. She has published over 50 research articles in various peer-reviewed National/International journals and has presented papers at various conferences. She has attended international Conferences and presented papers in Malaysia, Singapore, France, China, USA Philippines, and Italy.
