INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL

The internal quality assurance mechanism of the institution may be called “Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)”. The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the colleges. Indira Institute of Technology and Sciences IQAC channelizes and systematises the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence. The cell is a participative organ of the institution. The IQAC is a driving force for ushering in quality by working out intervention strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance quality.

The core objective of IQAC is centered on:

 Establishing a robust system and catalyzing actions aimed at enhancing the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

 Cultivating a culture of quality within the institution by promoting measures that enhance institutional functionality, thus ensuring continuous quality improvement.

Strategic Framework:

IQAC will design and implement mechanisms and protocols to achieve the following:

 Timely, efficient, and progressive execution of academic, administrative, and financial duties.

 Integration of contemporary teaching and learning methodologies for optimized outcomes.

 Maintenance and appropriate allocation of support structures and services.

 Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking with national and international institutions to disseminate research findings.

Functional Responsibilities:

 Development and application of quality benchmarks and parameters for all academic and administrative activities.

 Cultivation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education by embracing technology and participatory learning.

 Collection and assessment of feedback from students, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance institutional processes.

 Organization of workshops and seminars focusing on quality-related themes at both intra and inter institutional levels.

 Documentation of programs and activities aimed at continual quality enhancement.

 Promotion of a quality-oriented culture throughout the institution.

 Compilation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC, adhering to their guidelines and parameters.
