Department of Mechanical Engineering, Under the association, "MECHNOZ" organised a workshop on "FLUID MECHANICS" on 18th May 2023. Mr.Balu Naik, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department conducted the Workshop for Mechanical Engineering students. In this session, faculty given explanation on Fluid Properties & Dimensional Analysis, Fluid Statics, Fluid Kinematics, Fluid Dynamics, Viscous Incompressible Flow (Internal & External).
Workshop on Emission Control and emission norms in India was conducted on 13th May 2023 Under the "MECHNOZ" association activity by Mr.Abdul Kalam, Associate Professor, DIploma Incharge. One day work shop on emission control and emission norms in India is organised by department of mechanical engineering for mechanical students. In this session, The various things was shared to the students regarding emission norms, emission controls and various rules passed by the government for the emission so that overall pollution can be controlled in the environment.
The department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a Workshop on IC ENGINES under the association "MECHNOZ" on 12th May 2023.It helps the students to get Wide range of knowledge in internal combustion engines. In this session students learn about the working of 2- stroke and 4- stroke IC Engines.

In this session, on day-1 faculty given oral explanation and 2nd day practical work to the students on, One dimensional steady state conduction, Plane wall, composite wall, cylinder, sphere, Critical radius of insulation, summary of all cases, One dimensional steady state conduction in plane wall and radial systems with thermal energy generation, Fins - Fin efficiency, effectiveness, length of the fin, Transient conductionLumped capacitance, Heisler charts, semi-infinite medium.
The department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a Workshop on UTM(Universal Testing Machine) on 18th April 2023 under the association "MECHNOZ". The workshop help the students to get in touch with the conventional way of testing materials like iron and steel etc. In this workshop students got experience to operate UTM. The students get knowledge in the conventional methods by doing the exercises on their own. The workshop is fully equipped with modern machines, tools, equipments and measuring instruments. The Workshop was conducted by Mr.Balu Naik, Associate Professor from Mechanical Department
