Indira Institute of Technology & Sciences

The Minority Cell at Indira Institute of Technology & Sciences (IITS) was established with the aim of empowering minority communities within the institute. Recognizing the importance of catering to the educational and cultural needs of all students, regardless of their background, IITS is committed to providing inclusive services to minority students, including those from Christian, Muslim, and other minority communities.

Objectives of Minority Cell:

To ensure equal educational opportunities for minority students.

To facilitate access to financial support for students from minority communities through governmental agencies and other available sources.

To raise awareness among minority students about various scholarships offered by State and Central Governments, as well as UGC/AICTE.

To encourage participation in career orientation programs designed to empower minority students with the necessary skills and knowledge to make informed career choices.

To provide timely counseling and support for any emotional emergencies arising from events on campus, ensuring the well-being of minority students.

Through these objectives, IITS aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment where minority students can thrive academically, professionally, and emotionally.
